GREAT WEEKEND SHAPING UP TO HIT THE ICE!!!

Greetings All:

Well, it looks like the weatherman is going to give us a great weekend here in the Midwest to get out and do some ice fishing. Conditions are getting better as the colder air has returned to the area making for safer ice. Farm ponds and lakes are your top producers at this time with rivers also producing some fish. Panfish are available using larvae type baits and some good walleye action using big 3" minnows on a quick strike rig. Best times have been at sunrise and again at dusk when the crappie are very active. Hopefully you will get a chance to get out this weekend and enjoy the great Winter action that's going on right now at those frozen waters we all love to fish.

Good luck, be safe and ALWAYS check that ice before venturing out.
